Paige Guynn
Owner/Director
Paige started dancing before she could even tie her own ballet shoes! Raised in Northern Virginia, she hit the competition stage at just 5 years old and began training in the Vaganova ballet method in middle school. She went on to serve as captain and choreographer for the national champion MV Wildcat Dance Team and performed in some incredible places — including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the NFL Pro Bowl, and even overseas in England and France. Along the way, she also sang in choirs, choreographed high school musicals, and performed in theater productions.
At Virginia Tech, Paige stayed busy performing at pep rallies, charity events, and concerts with the Dance Company at Virginia Tech, where she served on the Executive Board for four years. She began teaching at Dance.tech in 2010 and has loved helping young dancers grow ever since. Always a student herself, Paige continues training through Studio Owner’s University, Julie Kay Stallcup, Hollywood Vibe, REVEL, and more. She is also Youth Protection Association in Dance certified and connected to leading organizations like More Than Just Great Dancing!®.
Beyond the studio, Paige is deeply engaged in her community. She currently serves as President of the local American Business Women’s Association chapter and as a board member for Summer Musical Enterprise and Main Street Connect of Blacksburg. She is also actively involved with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce as a Dean for the Leadership New River Valley program and as a Women’s Leadership Conference committee member.
And in her “spare” time? Paige works out at Burn Bootcamp and loves supporting local arts and sports — even volunteering to judge cheer tryouts at Christiansburg High School!

Sarah Huff
Performing Arts Company Director/Alumna
Sarah Huff has been dancing since the age of 3, growing up and training at Dance.tech. As a student, she competed at numerous regional and national competitions and attended conventions where she learned from professional instructors from across the country — experiences that helped shape her into the dedicated dancer and choreographer she is today.
In college, Sarah continued her dance journey as a member of the HighTechs Dance Team at Virginia Tech, where she combined her love for performance with school spirit and teamwork. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a focus in Information Systems from Virginia Tech and went on to complete her MBA at Liberty University.
Today, Sarah balances her professional and dance worlds with passion and dedication. She works full-time as a Finance Manager for New River Community Action while also teaching and choreographing at Dance.tech. She brings her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and love for mentoring into everything she does.
Outside of work and the studio, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaric, and their golden doodle, Fenway.

Nina Kempic
Blacksburg Ballet Director/PAC Choreographer
Miss Nina has been teaching at Dance.tech for 7 years and absolutely loves her DT family! A proud Virginia Tech graduate, she works as a civil engineer by day and puts on her Ballet Director hat by night.
During her time at Virginia Tech, Nina was a member of the Dance Company of Virginia Tech and performed and choreographed with Summer Musical Enterprise. Before moving to Blacksburg, she grew up in Maryland, where she trained extensively in ballet — and she’ll be the first to tell you the best tips for eating blue crabs (and remind you that Old Bay belongs on everything!).
Nina’s impact extends beyond the studio as well. She is a Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 honoree and the recipient of the 2024 Community Builder Award at the Women’s Leadership Conference.
