The Nutcracker Ballet
Our annual production of The Nutcracker has been showcased at Burruss Hall at Virginia Tech and Bondurant Auditorium at Radford University. Most recently we have found our home at the beautiful Moss Arts Center (now the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech).
Our annual production is set for December 11 & 12, 2025

Field Trips
Blacksburg Ballet has been producing two field trip performances for many years. The field trip is a reduced performance length and cost intended for groups, including homeschool, preschool, college students, daycare facilities, adult care, senior facilities, or any other group that would benefit from this alternate option.

World Showcase/Land of the Sweets
Over the years we have expanded to fully honor the cultural traditions of the countries represented in Act 2 of The Nutcracker. We were proud to collaborate with Hill and Veil Bellydance group from Virginia Tech and the Blacksburg Chinese School, beginning in 2022. If you are part of a cultural group or know someone who is, please send them our way! We are on a mission to share authentic performance styles from Spain, China, Russia, France, the Arabian Peninsula, and more.
