For over 25 years, Dance.tech has built a reputation for excellence in dance instruction and meaningful involvement in the community. Our team of qualified faculty is passionate about helping your dancer thrive. We believe in growing great people through dance—instilling life and leadership skills alongside strong technical training. Whether your child is dancing for fun, focus, or future goals, they are seen, supported, and celebrated here.
We know families have choices when it comes to dance education. If you’re shopping around, you may notice—we’re not the least expensive studio in the area. That’s because we’ve made the intentional decision to align with More Than Just Great Dancing®, a nationally recognized affiliation that holds its members to a higher standard—not just in dance instruction, but in safety, professionalism, and whole-child development.
The truth is, anyone can open a dance studio. There’s no license required to teach children, manage a facility, or lead a class. (In fact, you need more certification to groom a dog than to teach a child to dance.) That’s why we encourage families to look beyond the price tag—or even the sparkly décor—and take a closer look.
When evaluating a studio, we encourage you to ask:
Are all faculty members background checked?
Are instructors CPR and first aid certified?
Do teachers receive ongoing training—not only in dance, but in classroom management, child development, and mental health?
Is the administrative team well-organized and responsive?
Are communications timely, clear, and thoughtful?
Is there a plan in place for my child’s growth as a dancer and as a person?
